The JVC has Automatic Gain Control, which means that you can't adjust the levels manually, therefore: the audio runs hot and clips the beginning of the signal.

Driving in China... random video 3

Lanes? We don't need no stinking LANES!!! One of the most difficult adjustments for Westerners in China is the beautiful chaos that is traffic. :) Here are two videos that give you a glimpse...
